Did you know Canada is the second largest country in the world? With a coastline about 151,400 miles long, bordered on three sides by oceans and containing over two million rivers and lakes, it’s not surprising that travel around Canada involves covering long distances! The geography of Canada is hugely varied from the frozen barren north, through mountains and forests to wheat plains.

Wildlife & Natural History Holidays to Canada
Canada’s wildlife has evolved from the ice age. One of the most famous of Canada’s residents is of course the Polar Bear, which lives in the frozen lands and tundra on the Arctic circle. We can arrange viewing with the polar bears. Alternatively head to the Rocky Mountains and the Pacific Coast for fabulous wildlife and bear watching. You can also see grizzly bears catch salmon!

In Churchill, ‘The Polar Bear Capital of the World’, you have the perfect base from which to see the polar bears in their natural habitat. Arctic summertime is when they come to fast and rest and wait for the bay to freeze before heading out on the ice to hunt in autumn. Accessible only by plane, your days will be spent watching polar bears in their natural habitat and watching giant pods of friendly beluga whales.
