“One of the greatest wildlife spectacles of the world has to be a holiday to see Grizzly Bears. To be one of the lucky visitors with a prime view to see them fishing for salmon, my advice is to book as far ahead as possible, particularly for the remote wilderness lodges.“
- Day 1: Join tour in Anchorage
- Day 2: Drive or ferry to Valdez, on the Prince William Sound.
- Day 3: Journey to McCarthy via Keystone Canyon.
- Day 4: Walk in Wrangell St Elias National Park.
- Day 5: Free day; optional hike along the Kennicott Glacier or rafting.
- Day 6: Travel along the Denali Highway to Tangle Lakes.
- Day 7: Continue to Denali National Park.
- Day 8: In Denali National Park; search for wildlife on walks.
- Day 9: Drive to Talkeetna; optional scenic flight over Denali.
- Day 10: Visit Hatchers Pass mine, continue to Seward.
- Day 11: Free day; optional sea kayaking or cruise to Kenai Fjords National Park.
- Day 12: Return to Anchorage via the Portage Valley.
- Day 13: Tour ends Anchorage.
