Peter, Jean & Hetty – South Africa (April 2016)

We travelled to Cape Town for our daughter Hetty to be bridesmaid at a wedding and as you know I was hesitant about the trip! Excellent driving infrastructure and incredibly good value for money. In hindsight we should have had a bigger car! We did enjoy our stay in South Africa and can highly recommend many of the hotels and guest houses, staggering scenery, lovely helpful people, incredibly sophisticated cooking (we didn’t have any meals that would be bettered in London!).

The Mauritian people are so warm and welcoming. The trips that we arranged to do made the holiday for us. Not being "beachy people" being able to see the Island and take trips out to see other parts was perfect. We had a wonderful time thank you - Beachcomber Hotels are first class.

Just being away on holiday was the highlight! If you love alpine walking, the Tirol Austria is the destination of choice for all ages. There are picture post card villages to visit, with castles and museums alongside larger cities full of history.
