Thank you so much for booking our fabulous holiday to Vietnam and Cambodia with Viking River Cruises. We had a great time, the boat was not too big, very comfortable and food was excellent – there were 51 people and for the land tours around Ho Chi Minh City, Siem Reap and Hanoi we were split into two smaller groups which was great. Travelling on the Mekong was a great way to see life along the river and in the delta. The guides from Saigon and Hanoi had very different views on the history of the country which was interesting to hear and the museums we visited were sobering and reflective at times. The hotel in Hanoi was superb and we really enjoyed the Halong Bay boat overnight. Although there were about 500 boats in the bay once everyone went in different directions to explore 2000 islands we soon felt as if we were ‘away from the crowds’ We are looking forward to our next adventure with you to Madagascar next year and have recommended you to several friends whom we met on this tour as well!
