Thank you for researching and booking our dream trip to Sri Lanka to trace our family history – I can’t fault anything. Throughout the booking and travel, everything was superb.
My cousin and I went to find our tea planter grandfather’s grave and if possible the bungalow and the estate where he and his family (our parents) lived in the 1920s. With the help of our utterly brilliant driver/ guide and your ground agents team, we found them both. Two truly wonderful and emotional moments. Mission accomplished!!
We loved visiting many of the islands antiquities/ treasures, together with experiencing cooking demonstrations, beaches, artistic treats (Bawa and Janika De Silva to name just two) and train rides etc, were the icing on the cake.
I cant heap enough praise on our driver Sardhu. Nothing was to much trouble and his ability to make our itinerary run smoothly was perfect. He had humour, friendliness and an unconditional willingness to help all the time!! Make sure you use him again! We will go back to Sri Lanka – so much more to see and experience…
