There are lush tropical forests, mountains and savannahs, the wonderful Nile river and masses of lakes. There are over 300 species of mammals here and over 1000 bird species. The colours of the landscape and the people will welcome you into it's heart.
The tour starts in Murchison Falls National Park, where the Nile squeezes through a narrow gorge creating a spectacular waterfall. One of the best places in Africa to track chimpanzees is in Kibale Forest and in Queen Elizabeth National Park you can take boat trips to enjoy the birdlife, see plenty of hippos, the endemic Ugandan Kob, Buffalo and even tree-climbing lions! Finally into Bwindi where you can track the gentle giants in these thick forests, the endangered Mountain Gorillas.
