11 Day Tour from £3160pp

Overview & Highlights

This unique bespoke tour is a great way to discover Jordan, as some parts of the journey will be done on foot. This relatively small Kingdom has a wide variety to offer as it is rich in culture, both ancient and modern, and its architecture and natural scenery are stunningly beautiful.

Re-live Jordan’s Roman past in the extensive and well-preserved city of Jerash, before continuing to the Dana Nature Reserve with its deep gorges and soaring eagles. Spend the night at the candle-lit eco-lodge in Feynan where the evening is spent star watching from the roof.

En-route to Ajloun Forest Reserve, visit crusader castles and stretch your legs on a section of the Prophet’s Trail which passes fruit orchards and oak forests. On the last walk you descend below sea level and experience a gorge walk in Mujib Canyon before a well-deserved floating rest in the Dead Sea.

Nabatean Petra and the Roman city of Jerash can be combined with hikes through forested nature reserves, vast craggy gorges and rust-red deserts where towering rocky outcrops rise hundreds of metres from the sands.

  • Trek the idyllic Dana Nature Reserve
  • Rise early to discover iconic Petra at dawn
  • Spot migratory birds in the Azraq Wetlands Reserve
  • Sleep like a Bedouin in Wadi Rum
  • Spend the night in a candle-lit eco-lodge & star gaze from the roof.
  • Float in the Dead Sea.
Jules Croucher

Just back from Jordan & Israel – a brilliant holiday. We had a fantastic time. The Petra Kitchen experience in particular was great fun! We greatly appreciate all the hard graft you put in to make things happen for us, and the planning with you and expectation of things to come doubles the pleasure of the experience.
