KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
Rhino Post Safari Lodge is in a private reserve within the Kruger National Park along the border of Sabi Sands, offering excellent game viewing and it's closest airport is Skukuza (1.5 hrs away). Set on the banks of the Mutlumuvi riverbed is the luxurious trails “base” lodge Rhino Post. From here guests can travel to Plains Camp for walking safaris, as well as overnighting under the stars at the unique 'Sleepouts'. Spend the night on a sleeping platform in the bush before walking back to Plains Camp next morning. Rhino Post Safari Lodge is an elegant 16 bed lodge offering twice daily game drives. As well as making use of their private concession roads they have exclusive use of some of the Kruger National Park’s public roads for evening game drives, well after gate closing times (sunset), when you can get a glimpse of the nocturnal species of the Kruger.
Plains Camp is situated in the heart of a 12,000 hectare concession - a stone’s throw from Skukuza and easily accessible by road or air. With a maximum of eight people only (no children under 12), guests are ensured of a quality, pristine wilderness experience. Two highly qualified guides will share their wealth of bush knowledge with you – from the identification of animals, trees, grasses, insects and birds to the medicinal uses of plants, folklore and basic tracking and survival skills.
KWAZULU-NATAL

Steeped in history of the anglo-boer and zulu wars, you can take guided tours around Isandlwana and Rorke's Drift and also enjoy the rolling countryside with walks and picnics to enjoy the natural history of the area. Isibindi Game Reserve iSibindi Zulu Lodge is situated within the 4000 acre Isibindi Eco-Reserve which offers diverse habitats ranging from montane grassland and valley thornveld to riverine forests. The reserve is home to abundant indigenous game, morning and evening game drives are offered and there is excellent bird watching. Battlefield tours iSibindi Zulu Lodge offers guided tours of the Anglo-Zulu battlefields. Tours must be pre-booked so that arrangements can be made with our preferred guides to take the tours. The chilling accounts of the battles of Rorke's Drift and Isandlwana present a deeper insight of the rich history in the area. Presented alongside the military narrative, a complete picture of the impact of the Anglo-Zulu campaign on both the Zulu and British nations is formed.
Zulu Culture and History Isibindi Zulu Lodge offers the rare opportunity of learning about the Zulu culture and traditions as they remain in Zululand today. A Zulu Boma Dinner begins just as the sun starts setting, casting our hills in soft golden light. Guests are led down a narrow path to the beat of drums. As one emerges into a clearing comming across a historical Zulu umuzi (village) the dancing bodies of Zulu children make for a profound experience. The traditional dances and their role in Zulu history and culture is explained amid the energetic displays. A separate day trip to a Zulu Homestead gives guests a rare chance to experience the life of a rural Zulu family which has remained largely unchanged over the past hundred years since Shaka Zulu forged this mighty nation.
