Lake Garda is the largest covering three different regions. Water taxis take you easily around the lake between different resorts. Lake Como is home to many writers and artists and is surrounded by magnificent mansions and beautiful gardens. Lake Maggiore borders Switzerland and it's possible to take a tour from here to Zermatt and visit Lake Lugano across the border.

Venice is unique. Once you have explored the canals and ancient buildings, museums and churches, explore the outer lagoon islands. These are a world away from the bustle of the tourist attractions!
