Japan is a world of craziness!

Sarah & Jeremy travelled to Japan in April 2016 and tell their story here with a selection of photos below.

"As always you did everything to such a high standard (We wouldn’t expect anything else from you though!!). The other thing that helps take the stress out of things are the transport services that you arrange to and from the airport, that certainly takes the stress out of things when you first arrive in the country and getting to the airport in time for the flight home. We wouldn’t use any other travel services :)

There were so many memorable things about Japan, the craziness, the peace that can be found in the centre of Tokyo in amazing parks, cherry blossom, how friendly people are, temples, shrines.

A massive thank you to Jules and Mags for yet another fabulously arranged holiday. We decided to visit Japan for Jeremy’s 50th birthday (which you helped me to keep as a surprise for months!) and what a fabulous time we’ve had.

The holiday started smoothly with being met at the airport and driven to our hotel. During our time in Japan we visited Tokyo, Kyoto and Hiroshima. Mags arranged for us to have a guide for half a day in Tokyo and Kyoto and this is something that we would highly recommend, not only did they help with reserving all our bullet train seats and making sure when we travelled we had views of Mount Fuji but they also taught us things such as the cleansing ritual before entering shrines as well as seeing a variety of places.

We have seen many beautiful things whilst in Japan as well as the craziness of places like the shibuya crossing, to seeing geishas in the back streets of Gion at night rushing from one appointment to another.

Another must is a day trip to Nara to see the giant Buddha statue and feed the deer in Nara park. Where in the world can you visit a zen garden in the morning and meet with the head resident priest for a chat, see a very large cat being walked on a collar and lead through the bamboo groves and see the craziness of a robot cabaret……….. that would be Japan!!!!

If you’re thinking of going to Japan then book with Travel with Jules, the organisation is excellent, the information you receive is comprehensive and very detailed, you can’t go wrong."
