March is still good for African Safaris in Botswana where there are still excellent off peak prices, the Migration is moving slowly north in the Serengeti plains of Tanzania and South Africa is always a good option especially for foodies!  Camps in Zambia start to open up for the ‘dry’ season and rivers and rainbows safaris here are great with the water levels high in South Luangwa.

Zambia-Naomi-Sunset

The Indian Ocean is coming into season now with great diving around Seychelles and Mozambique in particular. Oman, Jordan, Egypt and Morocco all start to become more popular in March and of course with Easter Holidays often falling in March, these are good spring sun destinations, as are Gambia and Cape Verde.

The Canaries are lovely in March and popular for trekking and cycling as well as luxury hotels and family resorts. The Caribbean is fabulous in March, try some island hopping with twin centre holidays.  Florida villas are popular in March and April.

Parts of Asia start to open up in March including a good time to go to Bhutan, Malaysia, Laos and Cambodia and the ever popular ‘Cherry Blossom’ season starts in Japan.

Malaysia---Pankour-Laut-clu

Last chance (probably!) to see the Northern Lights and grab some last minute snow in the Arctic for dog sledding and snow mobiles or race down the ski slopes of Europe before the melt starts!

We knew nothing about Cuba when we came to your office and asked you to come up with an itinerary that covered all the bases. We feel we had a very good taste of what Cuba has to offer - the good, the bad and the ugly, all part of the experience. Beautiful country, lovely people - we had excellent guides, who provided lots of background info as well as showing us the must see sights. Our three homestays were also an interesting mix. The luxury resort at Caya Santa Maria was fantastic.

Is there anything that could be done better? Can't think of one thing… All went seamlessly – no hitches just a great short break at a brilliant location. The choice of hotel was spot on (quiet in its environment) and our hosts were fab to boot… Choice of hotel, the advice given in terms of when to travel – it was VERY early but that meant more time in Venice! And Venice itself. Glorious. Simply Glorious.
Steve & Annya – Venice (March 2017)

We enjoyed every minute of our trip to Southern India. We did a considerable number of miles, in all forms of transport - car, tuktuk, bus, train, boat! The temples in Tamil Nadu which I wanted to see were amazing. The colour and ornamentation is unbelievable.Thank you Jules & Nikhil for another glorious holiday. James was a wonderful driver, guide and all round friend. All in all wonderful!! On with the next!! Love India. Thank you to both of you.
Jenny & David Stagg – India Tamil Nadu & Kerala (Mar 2017)

Just to say thank you very much for organising my travels to see my family and changing my return flight when I needed to. Everything worked out very well . Coming back from New Zealand was the quickest I have ever done and helped a lot with the jet lag.
Mary MacKinlay – New Zealand (Dec 16 – Mar 17)
March 28, 2017

As always you did everything to such a high standard (We wouldn't expect anything else from you though!!) Where in the world can you visit a zen garden in the morning and meet with the head resident priest for a chat, see a very large cat being walked on a collar and lead through the bamboo groves and see the craziness of a robot cabaret........... that would be Japan!!!! A massive thank you to Jules and Mags for yet another fabulously arranged holiday. If you're thinking of going to Japan then book with Travel with Jules, the organisation is excellent, the information you receive is comprehensive and very detailed, you can't go wrong.
Sarah & Jeremy – Japan (April 2016)

The holiday was AMAZING, Gambia is such a great destination, thank you for recommending we visit and putting together a wonderful varied experience for us, we loved it all! Fathala Wildlife Reserve in Senegal was incredible, the ferry transfers were great fun and an insight to local life and we were well looked after on both journeys. The Mandina Lodges were stunning and the floating lodge was lovely.
Dave & Amanda – Gambia (March 2016)

You gave us good knowledge of the county which gave me confidence in you from our first conversation. Easy to communicate with and get hold of. I always want to feel in control of my holiday and I felt able to discuss and make changes to your initial itinerary. Highlights included the Skiing in Whistler & the guide we had for Niagara falls. We loved Vancouver and did the whale watching cruise and float plane ride.
Pearman Family – Canada (March 2016)
May 30, 2016

We stayed in Miami and visited the Florida Keys pre-cruise. The arrival transfer and hotel reservations you booked for us went to plan.
Beck party – Florida (March 2016)

We had the most wonderful time thank you so much!! We loved the safari in South Luangwa. Danforth yachting (Lake Malawi) was great fun - we enjoyed all the activities. Kaya Mawa was gorgeous we had a great time and the food was fantastic!! All in all a hugely successful trip so thank you for putting it all together for us. We will definitely recommend you to friends
Brown Family – Zambia & Malawi (March 2016)
May 20, 2016

Highlights included watching the dolphins and the most amazing snorkelling, watching the sun set drinking a cocktail and having the most incredible full body massage and facial looking down on the fishes swimming in the sea! It was an incredible holiday and the best way to spend my 50th birthday! We will definitely recommend your travel services, thank you.
Julie & Jerry – Maldives (March 2016)

Thank you so much for organising my trip to Australia for me! I was very unsure about travelling alone but Mags met me and talked me through the things I needed to do, such as getting travel insurance and a visa. The group I met in Alice Springs and travelled with were great fun and the tour leader was lovely. I really loved everything, it was all amazing!
Becky Baker – Australia (Feb – March 2016)
March 29, 2016

What can I say? You did it again! From the night I arrived, being welcomed back to Hemingways in Nairobi (I felt like the King of Scotland again!), to the day I left everything was a complete delight. Elephant Watch Camp is lovely, the staff there are superb. They know all the elephants by name and there were around 9 families in the area, Saba had arranged a surprise sleep out for me with the warriors! I had some amazing leopard sightings around Samburu too ... all in all very sad to leave there.
Wilf Graham – Elephant Watch, Kenya (March 2016)
March 29, 2016

Jean and I are fairly familiar with safari travel and Zambia would be the first place that I would recommend to any newcomers. The help of the Africa Tours reception on arrival in Lusaka which you arranged for us is a bonus. One of the wildlife highlights was seeing a pack of wild dogs on their kill.
Nick, Jean and Jackie – Zambia (March 2016)
March 29, 2016

Great time had by both of us, lots to see and find interesting, some bits not as good as others but none bad! Enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere at Tanjong Jara and meeting Chef Ann!! Great holiday, good memories, and thank you as ever for arranging it and for rapid responses to my emails even whilst travelling. Here's to the next one!
Jenny & David Stagg – Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore (Feb – Mar 2016)
March 23, 2016

The entire trip and booking process has been a highlight! From talking to Jules on the phone trying to decide where to go to finding out the actual experience was exactly as she described it would be. Wildlife, nature, good weather, friendly welcomes…fantastic food… perfect flights… everything! Going to Zambia in the Emerald season is a delight...
Naomi Delorme – Zambia (Feb – March 2016)
March 22, 2016

Giving us a wealth of knowledge from her years spent working in Africa, Jules soon put together the perfect holiday for us. Just back home, the holiday already seems like ages ago but we really did have the trip of a lifetime! Thank you Jules for your arrangements and making it all work so well for us (especially talking to us whilst we were flying from the Mara, not sure which air strip to get off the plane!!)
David & Sue Hughes – Kenya (Feb – March 2016)
March 24, 2016

The trip was amazing and we got to see the Northern Lights on Saturday and Sunday nights so that’s a bonus right there! Everything went without a hitch and we are all very grateful for your professional organisation.

Just a quick note to say a massive thank you for organising such an amazing Honeymoon to Japan (and administering the ‘gift voucher’ scheme from our wedding guests). We couldn’t have had a better time and are already planning a return trip! We booked a Small Group Tour for the first two weeks and it […]
Sarah & Steve Pearsons – Japan (March 2014)
April 29, 2014

While all of our hotels were beyond wonderful, Senegal is quite culturally different from ours (USA). Many roads are still sand and unpaved- though a good part of the trip to the delta was on the highway- at least one hour was a short cut through quite a barren area, little villages along the way […]
Laurie Schlussel – Senegal (March 2014)

Well I'm now in Chicago and have had an awesome time. It's been full on and clocked up around eight thousand miles. Thank you again you're a travellers champion!
John Oliver – Route 66 LA to Chicago (March 2014)
March 31, 2014

I just wanted to drop you a note to say we had a fantastic time in Iceland, no northern lights as it snowed so much, but it didn’t detract from the great scenery, people and food! Hotel Ranga was first class in terms of service and setting, and Hotel Centrum in Reykjavik was so close […]
Bishop Family – Iceland (March 2014)
March 14, 2014

We only had 3 nights in Tromso but managed to fit in 2 Northern Lights tours as well as a couple of other activities, with time remaining to relax and see the city. Jules really did take the hassle out of booking a fabulous tailor-made holiday for us, and we certainly won't hesitate to book our next adventure through Travel With Jules.
Dave & Miranda – Norway (March 2012)

We have just returned from a thrilling holiday in India – thanks to Travel With Jules. We cannot praise her highly enough, and will go nowhere else in future when planning and booking our holidays. Thank you so much Jules!
Jenny Labbett – India (March 2012)
May 16, 2012

Thank you for organising such a great schedule for us on our recent trip to Norway, especially at such short notice and with so much demand this season for Northern Lights. The Igloo Hotel was a sight to behold, the level of detail they go to throughout but particularly for the little chapel was amazing.
Cathy Bauso – Northern Norway (March 2012)
March 27, 2012

Not only was she able to get me the direct flights I wanted on the days I wanted which I had not been able to do, she was also wonderfully efficient in providing information regarding hotels using the criteria I had given her. I can heartily recommend Julie’s work, nothing is too much trouble for her and she seemed to be available 24/7 too!
Sue Hall – New York (March 2012)
March 27, 2012

We found Julie on line after reading that the Northern Lights were predicted to be exceptional in 2012 but didn't know how to book the best trip. She came up trumps with a snow shoeing holiday in Finland, good fun, active but not too challenging. The lights were spectacular and the eco camp a wonderful experience.
Mo Parker – Finland (March 2012)
April 3, 2012

One of the things I have come to love about you, Jules, is that you listen and take on board what makes me tick, and then tailor the holiday to fit me, not just try to convince me to fit a holiday in a brochure!
