Security in Las Vegas

Last nights tragic shooting attack in Las Vegas is affecting the Strip and the area immediately surrounding Mandalay Bay hotel. 

Travel With Jules currently has clients in resort and about to travel. We have checked and everyone is safe and accounted for. We are monitoring the situation regarding any flight diversions or cancellations and are re-booking clients where necessary.  

If you do know of people travelling with us and are worried or have booked your own holiday to USA with us, please do get in touch and we will assist. 

If you are worried about friends or family currently in Las Vegas (not travelling with us), below is a statement from the FCO with a helpline number.

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) is in contact with the local authorities and urgently seeking further information following a shooting incident in Las Vegas around the Mandalay Bay Hotel. You should avoid the area and follow the advice of the local security authorities. Road closures are in place in the area. A number of flights have been diverted from Las Vegas McCarran International Airport. You should check with your airline before travelling. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) has opened a dedicated telephone line for anyone concerned about specific individuals in the area around the Mandalay Bay Hotel (+1 866 535 5654). If you’re in the affected area, we recommend that you contact family and friends to let them know you’re safe. The LVMPD has also opened a family reunification centre at its headquarters in Building B, 400 S. Martin L. King Blvd.
