You can now fly direct from London to Rwanda – opening up ‘long weekend’ breaks to see the Mountain Gorillas!
RwandAir launched the first non-stop flight from the UK to Rwanda on May 26.
Operating three times a week from Gatwick to Kigali, the airline’s new Airbus A330-200 has three cabins: Business, Premium Economy and Economy.
Rwanda is known for its mountain gorillas, in Volcanoes National Park, and big game safaris. Akagera in eastern Rwanda is now home to all of Africa’s most sought after game animals after the recent reintroduction of black rhinos adding to elephants, African buffalo, leopards and lions. This year One&Only will launch a new lodge in Nyungwe while Wilderness Safaris is due to open Bisate Lodge near Volcanoes National Park.
