Whether you want a shopping trip to New York, a party weekend to Las Vegas, fancy crossing America by train or want to hike the canyons and national parks of the mid west, we can book your perfect dream holiday to USA!

Our best selling holiday to United States of America is the mother road of Route 66 CONTACT US to get your motor running! Self drive is a great way to see America and whether you choose a car, motorhome, wagon, motorbike, cycle or horse, you are sure to have a whale of a time, travelling around the sights, enjoying the hospitality of the people and doing that iconic, all American ‘road trip’!

The West

This can be loosely defined as half the land in the USA! Encompassing the Pacific Coast through the Rocky Mountains and Great Plains to the desert areas of Sonoran, Great Basin, Chihuahua and Mojave and much more in the middle!  The states of California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Oregon, Washington, Wyoming, New Mexico, Montana and Idaho form the ‘Great West’.

Stay on a ranch for a horse riding holiday, visit the cowboy towns of the central plains and ranches from Colorado through to Texas. Arizona and Utah have the most amazing canyons and rock formations anywhere on earth. The ethereal and stunning Arches National Park offers scenes that you could only really imagine – huge boulders balancing on their edges on hill tops and bright orange arched ravines … Bryce Canyon with it’s pink ‘cathedral’ spires and Zion with it’s steep gorges and clear rivers … a truly lovely wilderness area.  Not forgetting of course the most famous of them all The Grand Canyon.  Within California of course you have the cosmopolitan and glitzy towns of San Francisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and San Diego.

The Mid-West

America’s heartland and home to the Great Lakes, Great Plains and the enormous Mississippi River.  It’s a mostly flat region full of ranches and quaint towns with a mix of culture, food and languages.  This is where Dorothy was whisked into the land of Oz in a Tornado!!! Here you will find the rock carved presidents at Mount Rushmore and the jazz and gangster city of Chicago.  States in this region include Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, South and North Dakota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Indiana, Ohio, Nebraska, Kansas and Minnesota.

The South

The south of the USA includes Memphis, the home of Elvis, the Texan oil fields and the deep south with its jazz and creole cultures. This is an area of rich culture and history which has its own customs, cuisine and music. Stretching to the east coast and including the capital region of Washington DC, the states here are Florida, Tennessee, Louisiana, Mississippi, Kentucky, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Arkansas, Texas and Oklahoma. The deep south is a must see with plantation homes, paddle steamers, great food and the atmosphere of times gone by. Head to the sunshine state of Florida for glitz and glamour, theme parks the Everglades and Florida Keys – gateway to the Caribbean.

The North East

The most affluent area of the USA including New England states, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, the landscape here moves from cliffs and sandy beaches of the Atlantic coast to fertile farms of the Ohio River Valley.  Mountain ranges fill the landscape and two of the ‘great lakes’ border this region.  New York of course attracts shoppers from all round the world and has a rich culture and superb entertainment. New England  and Vermont offer beautiful architecture, gardens, hills, valleys and coastline and is most amazing when the colours of red, orange and yellow blanket the land in ‘The Fall’. Massachusetts is a huge state including Cape Cod, playground and holiday homes for the rich and famous! Connecticut has lovely small towns and river valleys and seems to be in a bit of a time warp (in a nice way!).

Although a long way from the other states, USA is proud to have Hawaii as its Pacific island paradise! There are four islands, Kauai, Oahu, Maui and the Big Island … all with different things to offer the traveller and all full of adventure and activity. A haven for natural beauty, tropical flowers, volcanic mountains, friendly culture and warm waters all year round. Combines well as a twin centre holiday with the West coast of the States.

We did it! Nearly 5 weeks, nearly 4000 miles, 23 beds ending at our regular holiday home resort near San Diego. Met some wonderful characters, seen a lot of sights and eaten in countless eateries, some really great and others perhaps not so. We actually met up with Jerry Mclanahan (author of EZ66) who duly signed our book and took photos, I was 66 that day, on Route 66 meeting the author! Some of the hotels were really wonderful. Loads of souvenirs, loads of photos to sort through and lots of memories and events to 'dine out on'. Thank you so much for your organisation, everything went well and worked seamlessly...
Dave & Nicki – Route 66 & San Diego (May 2017)
June 20, 2017

Our self drive holiday to USA's Deep South was well planned and varied and, for the most part the hotels and B&B's chosen where good or very good. The route offered the right amount of driving and time in destinations and was scenic. The highlights of the trip were Natchez and Memphis – and the accommodation in Montgomery and Vicksburg.
Karen Smith – Deep South USA (April 2017)
April 26, 2017

You picked some great places to stay we would probably not have found ourselves. Your local knowledge came in very handy when planning the itinerary - we would not otherwise have known the best direction to do the Pacific Highway nor thought of going to Laguna beach which turned out to be a brilliant place. Also the advice to get FastPass tickets for Universal. You made the booking of the flights and car very easy and those bits of the journey went very smoothly.
Davies Family – California (April 2017)
April 24, 2017

It was amazing and everything went like clockwork. The highlight was Noes Nest. I can't really describe how good it was. Breakfast was immense with such variety, taken in a large kitchen round the table with whichever guests were up at that time. The property is is a good area only 10 minutes from the city centre via the DART (tube), with loads of cool shops and bars within walking distance. It really was perfect. Alcatraz was immense. So in summary you nailed it again!
Waine Family – USA San Francisco (April 2017)
April 14, 2017

This trip was going to tick off another 4 new States for me making 49 so far (only Hawaii to do … next year, I hope!). Everyone was so friendly and welcoming! A first for me was staying in small bed & breakfast accommodation … I loved it! As usual, the worst bit was having to come home and it’s HUGE thank-you to Mags and Jules for organising another memorable trip.
Jon Dailey – Deep South USA (Oct 2016)
November 8, 2016

We had a fabulous time in New England, loved it! The original Cheers Bar was brilliant and our meal there was excellent. Some amazing drives and view points from Woodstock and Manchester. We explored all of Cape Cod and the amazing deserted beaches. The highlight was seeing whales from Race Point Beach lookout! Thanks for all your help and looking forward to our next adventure.
Kathy Garner – New England USA (Oct 16)
March 22, 2017

Thank you for your organisational skills, your knowledge and every detail of what was a truly fabulous holiday experience. We gave you the outline of an idea and you took it and created a proposal. There are too many highlights to list – overall the holiday met and exceeded our expectations!

October 26, 2016

Jules is always happy to help, no matter how big or small the trip and gives great advice. The whole trip was wonderful. Both Maui and Oahu are spectacular, yet very different in character. Lots to see and do. Kayaking, waterfalls, great scenery, sunrise at the Haleakala volcano.

August 24, 2016

I’m currently in the process of visiting all the States of the USA and this trip was going to tick-off Alaska as number 45! All my other trips have been on a Harley or in a 4x4 (all recent years have been booked by Travel With Jules) so when a train trip around part of Alaska was suggested, this was going to be a new experience. I was a little apprehensive that each leg of my journey (5 in all, approx. 120 miles each) was going to take about 4 hours but the scenery in Alaska is spectacular and time flew by. Alaska is HUGE and so beautiful that I want to go back to see more of it. Probably my favourite State! … Thanks Jules and Mags for organising a most memorable trip.
Jon Dailey – Alaska (June 2016)
August 10, 2016

What a wonderful trip. Holiday of a lifetime. I can't thank you enough Jules and Mags. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts and we will certainly book another trip with you. It was awesome. You are awesome.
Violet & Craig – USA Route 66 (May 2016)
May 27, 2016

We had a fantastic time on holiday in the States. As you know it was a surprise holiday for my girlfriend's 30th birthday, having it arranged by you meant that I didn't need to hide all the details or worry about all the booking details that needed to be done. I would definitely recommend this holiday to anyone wanting to do west coast USA. We really liked Monterey, it was peaceful and beautiful and we went Whale Watching. The drive to Las Vegas was a treat, the rolling hills and mountains across the desert were just beautiful.
Lizzie & Nicky – Western USA (May 2016)
May 30, 2016

We stayed in Miami and visited the Florida Keys pre-cruise. The arrival transfer and hotel reservations you booked for us went to plan.
Beck party – Florida (March 2016)
May 20, 2016

So thanks, Jules and Magsie, for your thoughtful suggestions, for your hard work making all the bookings, for fixing our one problem while we slept, for finding us more time to do more, and for saving us money. It was truly a holiday of a lifetime.
Kristen, Julia and Mimi Busch-Hansen – USA (Oct 2015)
December 6, 2015

America was terrific, excellent music and absolutely extraordinary history and intriguing places to stay, we enjoyed every stop but have become great fans of the B&B venues. I would recommend them all, so thanks for organising those, we'd have missed them if left to our own devices. Eye opening "Southern Hospitality"
Powis Family – USA Deep South (Oct 15)
December 23, 2015

Everything went very smoothly - the leather travel document wallet was a nice touch. The trip was amazing and we saw so many things that we never would on a normal holiday.
Nicola Ward – USA Pacific Highway (Sept 2015)
December 6, 2015

We can’t thank Travel With Jules enough for all the work and effort they put in to organising our holiday of a life time! From the first email we sent to the day we came back, everything was trouble and stress free. Our only regret was we should have gone for 3 weeks instead of 2! Thank you Jules & Mags for making memories that will last a lifetime.
California Road Trip – James & Laura (Aug 2015)
March 22, 2016

Our Route 66 trip was brilliant thank you. The driving was not as difficult as I expected - we bought the EZ66 guide in Joliet. Grand canyon was a great detour. I just enjoyed meeting the local people, they keep the route and history going, but not in a crazy way, just living on it.
Charlotte & Chris – Route 66 (July 2015)
September 1, 2015

Our tailor made Route 66 holiday was the best trip we have ever done - you did a great job at organising it, thank you! It was a great balance of accommodation with quirky motels, boutique hotels and historic sites. We would recommend anyone thinking about a trip down Route 66 to do it!

Many of our travellers on Route 66 detour to the Grand Canyon – this ‘cowboy sleep out’ option is enjoyed from Grand Canyon Ranch at the west rim:  On the Cowboy Sleep Out, the best point is that this is run by a real cowboy.  Not the entertainer who tells stories over supper in the […]

I virtually followed Route 66 from beginning to end as laid out in the EZ66 Guidebook that you recommended, and got a real feel for mid 20th century America. I also managed to pack a lot in as well as the route itself. I went on an Architectural tour of Chicago, up to the top […]

Our holiday was amazing! The weather was bright sunshine for the 12 days, which was a bonus. Changed the car to a bigger one with no fuss. In Las Vegas we loved the MGM, a great hotel with good location. The Omni in Los Angeles was awesome, we asked for an upgrade and were successful ;-) The Serrano in San Francisco had wine tasting every evening between 5pm and 6pm which was extremely nice and pleasant! Well located and we felt safe walking around at night. Overall the holiday exceeded our expectations, and we are very grateful for all your help and assistance in making this trip happen!
Paul & Sue – USA California fly drive (April 2013)
April 30, 2013

If, like me, you’ve stumbled across Julie’s website after doing a search for a holiday experience, don’t waste any more time looking for your perfect holiday organiser – you’ve found her! Nothing seemed like too much trouble; plenty of ‘what ifs’ posed and responded to with an immediate understanding of what we were looking for. If you’re looking for a travel organiser to tailor your holiday to your requirements, look no further than Jules – thoroughly recommended.
Andy & Graham – Route 66 USA (September 2012)
October 19, 2012

Thank you for organising our trip to New York. We did all the main attractions, Empire State Building, Grand Central Station, Chrysler building. Loved the hustle and bustle of Time Square. Had a horse and carriage ride round Central Park, and had a meal in the Boat House Restaurant in the Park. The highlight of the holiday was the Niagara Falls day trip you booked for us, it was absolutely amazing. I would recommend it to anyone. It seems a lot of money but worth every penny. I will happily recommed Travel With Jules and your services to anyone.
Jackie Cadman – New York (September 2012)
October 15, 2012

Thank you for organising our recent trip to USA, all flights, transfers and the hire car arrangements ran smoothly! In New York the 48-hr Hop on, Hop off bus was excellent. The night tour was a bonus and the boat around Statue of Liberty was the best way to do it given the huge queues for the boat that landed at the Statue of Liberty We enjoyed the sights around New York and Washington. The hotel in Washington was ideally located. Thanks for all your help with organising our trip for us - I would definitely ask for your help again!
Nicky Fussell – USA (July 2012)
August 4, 2012

Caroline Gorner – USA Route 66 (June 2012)
June 24, 2012

Not only was she able to get me the direct flights I wanted on the days I wanted which I had not been able to do, she was also wonderfully efficient in providing information regarding hotels using the criteria I had given her. I can heartily recommend Julie’s work, nothing is too much trouble for her and she seemed to be available 24/7 too!
Sue Hall – New York (March 2012)
March 27, 2012

One of the things I have come to love about you, Jules, is that you listen and take on board what makes me tick, and then tailor the holiday to fit me, not just try to convince me to fit a holiday in a brochure!
