This is a fabulous luxury holiday destination with a wide range of hotels and sightseeing to be enjoyed. A land of world class hotels and a thriving businesses, the seven emirates along the north edge of the Arabian Peninsula, encapsulate everything about the Middle East.  With landscapes varying from the huge sand dunes and desert oasis to the skyscrapers of Dubai this is a melting pot of culture and history.

United Arab Emirates is a federation of seven emirates – Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Dubai, Fujairah, Ras al-Khamah, Sharjah and Umm al-Quwain.  The capital of UAE is Abu Dhabi though no doubt the most well known emirate is Dubai. The best time to travel is between late October and early May with daytime temperatures averaging about 25c. June to September is very hot with temperatures into the high 40’s C. The Emirates are  a great stop over on the way to long haul destinations or a city break from Europe. Sharjah has interesting architecture and has plenty of galleries, theatres and museums.  Abu Dhabi is a large, sparkling city on an island around two hours south from Dubai. The Al Aqah Beach Resort is a popular family friendly hotel in Fujairah.

Dubai is the most populated of the emirates and is a popular stop over point with fabulous shopping malls and hotels, beaches nearby and desert excursions within easy reach. Originally a fishing village, Dubai is constantly developing and growing and has the largest shopping mall in the world!

There are some seriously luxurious hotels here, the most popular beach area being at Jumeirah.  Chose from the Arabian feel of the Madinat, the elegant Royal Mirage and The Palm, to name just a few.  The most iconic is the sumptuous Burj Al Arab (recently featured on TV documentary).  Most hotels here have excellent spas and sumptuous pool villas, perfect for honeymoons or just some family downtime.  Just back from the beach is the Dubai Creek area and harbour again with plenty of luxury hotels to chose from.  Outside of the city head to the surrounding desert for ‘Arabian Nights’ at the Al Maha Desert Resort and Spa or the Banyan Tree Al Wadi.  Bedouin ‘tents’ await you, huge floor cushions and day beds, lay back and watch the night sky!

Ask us to tailor a luxury Middle East holiday to include the United Arab Emirates and Dubai or make it a stop over on your way to or from far flung destinations!  Here is just one example of how Dubai works as a stop over with Indian Ocean.

Had a great time with my brother and his family at Al Aqah thank you! They upgrade us and we had our own little wing of the 19th floor! The hotel was excellent. Great quality of food. The beach front restaurant Gonu was great for us. Proper 5 star service. I strongly recommend you book everyone on the dine around all inclusive as paying directly for drinks was ridiculously expensive!

Thank you again for your help in organising our Easter family holiday to the Al Waha Shangri-La - the early check in and requests for facilities in the room for our baby worked perfectly! The VIP meet and greet at the airport on arrival took the stress out of arriving in the heat with 3 children and highly recommend it!

Thank you for our tailor made holiday to Cambodia and Vietnam (with Dubai stop over). You listened to what we wanted and made the changes to our itinerary as requested. The ground agents were fantastic, the guides were always on time and everything was organised very efficiently. There were many fantastic sights and experiences. Halong Bay was a particular favourite of mine.

Another amazing family holiday - thank you so much! Al Aqah Beach Resort was gorgeous, couldn't do enough for us and the food was really good, being able to dine around on the all inclusive you booked for us was a real bonus. We loved our upgraded apartment and the facilities and would highly recommend this hotel, we may well return!

Our holiday to Dubai and Mauritius was was Amazing!.. It was absolutely perfect in every way and we thoroughly enjoyed the hotels. Paradise Cove looks fantastic compared to the pictures we saw of it before the refresh. What we loved most about the hotel was the fact that there were so many sunloungers with so […]

One of the things I have come to love about you, Jules, is that you listen and take on board what makes me tick, and then tailor the holiday to fit me, not just try to convince me to fit a holiday in a brochure!
