Israel

The Holy City of Jerusalem and the many biblical and historical sights of Israel make it a must see for any historians and keen archeologists.  It might surprise you to know that there are also great hiking trails and bird watching here.  Historic escorted tours around Bethlehem, Jerusalem, the Sea of Galilee and many other places operate every month of the year and you can join a group of any size or ask for a tailor made private tour. There is nowhere else you can find such a high concentration of ancient sites in such a small area.

The vibrant capital of Tel Aviv offers a cosmopolitan range of cafes, bars and nightlife as well as the business centre of Israel and is a great place for a city break. Contemporary art, culture and the huge gay scene of Tel Aviv is now big business.  The historic port of Jaffa and the surrounding old town with it’s markets and cafes is particularly worth a visit and there are plenty of festivals in Israel – Jazz, Films, Music and Dance.

The Dead Sea is a natural Spa!  There are stunning salty, desert landscapes surrounding this lowest point and plenty of spa and treatments available, including mud and salt baths and various treatments and luxury spas.

Adventure travel and small groups offer plenty of opportunity to explore on foot or by bike and the scenery is stunning.

Food is important to Israelis and they love eating out, cooking and talking about food!  Discover the colourful markets and great restaurants of the ‘land of milk and honey’. You can learn how to make traditional cheese in Jerusalem’s mountains at the Galilee dairies or take a street food safari and sample falafels, pickles, pittas and bourekas.  Israel also has some fabulous wines, visit the rolling vineyards and cellars and sample some of the countries finest!

Just back from Jordan & Israel - a brilliant holiday. We had a fantastic time and never at any stage was there any doubt about the arrangements. We greatly appreciate all the hard graft you put in to make things happen for us, and the planning with you and expectation of things to come doubles the pleasure of the experience.

One of the things I have come to love about you, Jules, is that you listen and take on board what makes me tick, and then tailor the holiday to fit me, not just try to convince me to fit a holiday in a brochure!
