Situated at the eastern end of the Mediterranean Sea close to Turkey is the gorgeous island of Cyprus. Stunning landscapes, ancient history and fabulous food, there are plenty of luxury holiday options here. This is the legendary birthplace of Aphrodite, the Love Goddess and the landscape offers a mass of archaeological sites, theatres, Greek temples and Byzantine churches and chapels.

Suitable for family holidays, group adventures or romantic couples holidays and honeymoons, Cyprus has a range of hotels, guest houses and self catering villas to suit all tastes. There are sandy beaches, warm clear seas and plenty of restaurants and bars. The two main airports are Paphos in the south west and Larnaca in the south east.  Car hire is readily available for self drive holidays to Cyprus.

To the west of the island, Paphos town has palm lined streets, cafe culture and great beaches.  There are plenty of good quality hotels and apartments around Paphos including many spa hotels and luxury facilities.  Near Pissouri is the luxuruious Columbia Beach Resort built in the style of low rise Cypriot buildings with large suites and a pool leading to the sea.

North of Paphos is Coral Bay below the hillside village of Peyia.  There is a great beach here with plenty of family water sports and a resort centre with shops and bars. Coral Bay is best for a laid back holiday and to use a hire car to explore the lovely villages in the area. Inland slightly is Miliou, one of the smallest villages n the island with a population of around 60 people! It’s very green because of the spring water and is surrounded by vineyards, almond trees and citrus groves. There is a fabulous spa retreat in this area too – relax in beautiful gardens in the hills with treatments, yoga and fabulous local food and drink.  Visit in early spring to enjoy the sight of the blossom on the trees. Furthest north of the western section of coast are Latchi and Polis. This area is ideal for a peaceful holiday to relax and unwind on the edge of Alkamas National Park, fabulous for photographers and nature lovers. Nearby on Polis Bay is Natura Beach Hotel which has a lovely long beach and gorgeous sunsets. Latchi is a traditional fishing village with a pretty harbour and fish tavernas.

In the south on the coast is the popular resort town of Limassol on the broad, sweeping Akrotiri Bay. This is the island’s main port and hub for the wine industry. There are plenty of tavernas, bars and shops here. East of Larnaca are Ayia Napa and Protaras.  Larnaca is a bustling port town with an historic old quarter and modern shopping area. There are lovely drives along the coast road with several stretches of sand and pebble beaches.  Ayia Napa has amazing beaches and clear, gently shelving waters particularly at Grecian Bay and Nissi Beach.  This former fishing village is now a major tourist resort with plenty of bars and cafes, often frequented by the rich and beautiful people!  There is a lively nightlife here for the younger market but shop around also for authentic restaurants and the tavernas around the fishing harbour.  Round the corner, Protaras has become something of a concrete jungle, favoured by package tour holiday companies.

Inland go walking in the pine covered Trodos mountains and across to the west, where you will find picturesque tiny hamlets and ancient churches seemingly hanging on to precarious mountain peaks and terraced slopes. The Kyrenia mountain range runs along the north coast and the Arkamas peninsula to the west is dotted with villages – stop and have a cup of the traditional thick Greek coffee here.  Kyrenia on the north coast and the surrounding hills have some lovely boutique style hotels and guest houses. Ask me about holidays to North Cyprus too.

Golf can be played year round on fairways high above the sea and for the outdoor enthusiast there are plenty of options including horse riding, mountain biking, rock climbing or parasailing. Cyprus is a fabulous option for walking holidays and sightseeing.  Explore monasteries and vineyards, sail around the coast or just unwind on a gorgeous beach. Cyprus has one of the longest summers in Europe so is a great year round holiday destination and a great place for winter sun.  Contact us for special offers to Cyprus including winter long stay hotels.

Weddings in Cyprus are also very popular with many hotels offering the full package with wedding co-ordinators on hand to ensure your big day goes to plan.

We can plan your overseas wedding!

We had an amazing time and are so grateful to you for finding such a beautiful place for us to go on our honeymoon at the last minute! It was paradise. Straight after our wedding I contacted Jules and asked her to help with a last minute honeymoon. Jules spent time listening to our requirements and came back with various options. Once we agreed on our destination Jules promptly booked everything and a few days later we were off on our honeymoon to the most wonderful luxury spa resort in Rhodes.

We had a lovely time on our recent family holiday to Cyprus (Paphos – Olympic Lagoon Resort) – the hotel is all shiny and new so very clean. Food was very good, lots of choice and presented very well. We preferred to eat in the buffet style restaurant as more choice. The children did go in […]

One of the things I have come to love about you, Jules, is that you listen and take on board what makes me tick, and then tailor the holiday to fit me, not just try to convince me to fit a holiday in a brochure!
