St Vincent & the Grenadines

Bespoke & Tailor Made Honeymoons & Holidays to St Vincent & The Grenadines

Part of the Windward Islands of the Caribbean and south of St Lucia, west of Barbados, this is a fabulous string of exotic islands, best known for fabulous sailing and amazing views. St Vincent is the largest by a long way of the 32 islands and cays which stretch south to Grenada.  The main islands, from north to south are Young Island, Bequia, Mustique, Canouan, Mayreau and the Tobago Cays, Union Island, Palm Island and Petit St Vincent. All the islands are close together making island hoping by boat a great option. Sailing holidays are popular here with yachts available with or without crew.

There are no direct flights from the UK, but you can fly via Barbados, Grenada, Saint Lucia, Antigua or Trinidad. The average temperature is around 27C and the main rains are June – December.

The capital is Kingstown on St Vincent island backed by a pretty ridge of hills with a market square in the centre of the town – visit on colourful market days, Friday and Saturday. Hikers, nature and bird lovers head for Buccament Valley on St Vincent where you can stay at the luxury Buccament Bay Resort.  If you enjoy snorkelling and sailing head to Tobago Cays National Marine Park. Snorkel with turtles at Tobago Cays National Marine Park.  St Vincent is 29km long and 18km wide crowned by La Soufriere volcano with black sand volcanic shores and fertile hilly slopes. Buccament Bay is a popular luxury hotel here.

This is a great place for weddings or honeymoons, ask me for the pick of the best options. Stay on a private island, Young Island, Palm Island and Petit St Vincent are all self contained properties on private islands. There are plenty of celebrities who holiday here, private villas and yachts are the adventure playground of the rich and famous. If you enjoyed the films of Pirates of the Caribbean – head for St Vincent and the Grenadines to see the real life film set! Petit Tabic is where Johnny Depp was marooned ….

Mustique is one of the most exclusive destinations on the planet – just 2.4km x 5km it is a private island surrounded by white sand and coral reefs with luxury villas and a famous blues festival. Horse riding and nature trails can also be found here. One of the most beautiful and character filled places to stay on Mustique is the Cotton House, a collection of individual residences dotted around an old sugar plantation. There is a gorgeous dining room and bar, converted from the old windmill and warehouse. For over 30 years the famous beachfront bar on stilts nearby has played host to the rich and famous, visit for breakfast, lunch, dinner or late night dancing!

Petit St Vincent is at the southern tip of the country and is privately owned with rolling hills, sandy beaches and reefs. Escape the world in one of the 22 private cottages dotted around the coast with no phones or TVs … bliss!

Ask me to put together a tailor made holiday or honeymoon to St Vincent and the Grenadines, maybe combine it with other parts of the Caribbean.

Thank you for booking our French Caribbean self guided walking holiday to Guadeloupe and Martinique Travel With Jules adapted the original itinerary by Headwater (the operator) to suit our travel needs from Edinburgh and resolved a ridiculously unnecessary booking on a very early transfer flight at no extra cost to us when Headwater had raised a charge. All I can say is AWESOME!!!!!! The staff and other visitors at The Body Holiday were so friendly, I didn't feel uncomfortable as a solo traveller (after the first fifteen minutes of watching others obviously!) at all. The hosted communal evening meals were lively, friendly, interesting discussions with perfect strangers, several of whom I subsequently spent meal times with. The service was fantastic, the staff were friendly and I will definitely be looking to travel there again. I would also like to say thank you for putting me on to such a wonderful spot and I would love it if more places were so open to solo travellers and accommodating to different needs. All in all I would score it 10 out of 10!

Our holiday to Dominican Republic was a huge success, thank you! We loved the beautifully conceived "travel packs" that added a "wow" factor! The holiday was also a cloak-and-dagger operation for me to propose to Sophie. The hotel excelled itself on providing 10 restaurants with a la carte offerings - food was superb. Thank you for all your help in making this special holiday happen!

Everything was spot on. The second hotel was excellent - well recommended. Shirley heights on Sunday and the excellence 360 island trip are brilliant.

Cuba – what an amazing country ... the noise and bustle of Havanna, the cars, the history, the people, a place stopped in time, interesting scenery, history and culture and the most beautiful beaches!

Julie gave us an excellent service for our holiday to Barbados. She listened to our requirements, gave informed advice and provided more than we had asked for! We will use her again and will recommend her to family and friends.

Our Caribbean holiday to Antigua was fantastic!! The Inn at English Harbour was really beautiful, quiet and tranquil. Did some excellent snorkelling and a couple of tours as well. Absolutely perfect, certainly one of the best holidays we've had. Thank you so much for organising it, we'll be back for more!

It was lovely to have Jules to sort everything out for us, and it certainly meant that we could relax and get on with organising the other parts of our wedding safe in the knowledge that our honeymoon was being taken care of for us. Everything went as smoothly as it could be from start to finish, we had zero problems throughout.

One of the things I have come to love about you, Jules, is that you listen and take on board what makes me tick, and then tailor the holiday to fit me, not just try to convince me to fit a holiday in a brochure!
