A holiday to the island state of Singapore, also known as the Garden City, is a good introduction to the Far East and is a popular stopover destination on the way to Australia or New Zealand. Singapore also twins well with Malaysia and Bali. Sitting off the southern tip of the peninsula of Malaysia, Singapore is an island country made up of 63 islands and separated from Malaysia by the Straights of Johor.  A constantly tropical climate due to being just 85 miles north of the equator. To the south of Singapore are the Riau Islands which can be reached by ferry for a low key beach holiday in Indonesia.  Contact us on 01728 748209 to book your flights and holidays to Singapore now.

Most visitors stay for at least two or three nights to fully experience this vibrant metropolis. Much more than just shopping in a high-rise cityscape, Singapore boasts superb restaurants, numerous attractions and the renovated areas of the city are especially pretty. There are some fabulous luxury hotels here including Shangri-La, Ritz Carlton, Mandarin Oriental (with it’s superb roof top pool) and the most famous colonial hotel in the city, Raffles where you can taste an original Singapore Sling cocktail!

An eye-catching city, Singapore offers plenty of photo opportunities. There are stark contrasts between old and new, with glittering skyscrapers, preserved colonial buildings, ultra modern shopping malls and authentic street markets co-existing harmoniously side by side. Try out your bargaining skills in Little India where you’ll find an array of multi-cultural shops and stalls. The more traditional areas of the city have been tastefully maintained and carefully preserved to retain its proud culture and heritage. Asia’s first Universal Studios can be found on Sentosa Island. A huge luxury casino resort with a 340m long sky park is found at Marina Bay Sands

Food lovers will be spoilt for choice in Singapore where you will be amazed by the variety of worldwide cuisine on offer, from Chinese, Malay and Indonesian food to hot curries from Southern India and some of the finest Italian cooking outside of Italy. Many of the restaurant settings are both lively and unique.

The quality of the hotels in Singapore and the surrounding region is exceptional and we recommend travelling May to September for special offer prices. If you want to mix your city break with some relaxation on the beach then Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort is one of the few beach front resorts in Singapore.  See special offer for travel in November.

Singapore is now a massive business centre and the world’s fourth leading financial centres, so let us know if you need flight only to Singapore. The port is one of the busiest in the world. Historically, Singapore was part of various empires and in hosted a trading post of East India Company in 1819. It was then one of the British Straits Settlements then occupied by Japan in World War II. It declared independence with other British territories forming Malaysia in 1963 but left it 2 years later.

English is the official language here, though Mandarin, Malay and Tamil are widely spoken too. Getting around is easy on the efficient public transport system and there are plenty of shopping malls for some retail therapy! The annual Formula One Grand Prix event draws big crowds so book well ahead if you want to make a holiday of it.

Contact us on 01728 748209 or complete the enquiry form, for a tailor made holiday to include Singapore either as a stop over, add on to other parts of the Far East or as a destination in it’s own right.

Lombok was stunning! The hotel (The Chandi - Ocean View Villa) was perfect being right on the beach. Facilities were spot on and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Your organisation helped immensely, it was a joy to know that everything had been done and we just needed to be in the right place at the right time. Thank you so much for making it a great honeymoon!

Thailand was great we had an amazing time thank you so much! We loved both the hotels and their locations and would highly recommend both. Resort recommendation was excellent. I'm not sure we would have come across these hotels on our own and they were both exactly what we were looking for. Also thank you for getting such a good price for us. I was surprised that this holiday was not more expensive! Highlights -

Great time had by both of us, lots to see and find interesting, some bits not as good as others but none bad! Enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere at Tanjong Jara and meeting Chef Ann!! Great holiday, good memories, and thank you as ever for arranging it and for rapid responses to my emails even whilst travelling. Here's to the next one!

Communication was always very clear and we always had a quick response. We were very pleased with the service we received from Travel With Jules. The Ha Long Bay Bassac boat cruise was brilliant, the crew on board were a fantastic group and did everything they could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We would definitely recommend your services to our friends.

Thank you for our tailor made holiday to Cambodia and Vietnam (with Dubai stop over). You listened to what we wanted and made the changes to our itinerary as requested. The ground agents were fantastic, the guides were always on time and everything was organised very efficiently. There were many fantastic sights and experiences. Halong Bay was a particular favourite of mine.

How fortunate we were to find Travel With Jules by chance on the internet, and most of all how refreshing to find someone who truly cares about clients and goes the extra mile in providing a superb service. Julie was exceptionally generous with her time, answering all our questions often communicating out of office hours, including checking that everything was going well whilst we were actually on holiday.

One of the things I have come to love about you, Jules, is that you listen and take on board what makes me tick, and then tailor the holiday to fit me, not just try to convince me to fit a holiday in a brochure!
