Great short break to Iceland. The hotel in Reykjavik was lovely and the New Years Eve event was really good and the food was fantastic! Loved fireworks and the Blue Lagoon.

Our escape from the January UK snow to Cuba was utterly terrific!! Both hotels were fantastic and both in great locations. We all enjoyed Havana immensely and the Kuoni rep was pretty helpful in sorting the activities. The beach resort was also great and the holiday ended far too soon. Thanks so much for getting it all sorted. The transfers and organisation was seamless and definitely added to the overall experience. The level of service from Julie from day one to the point of return was fantastic….and I have already recommended her to a friend!

We just wanted to say that all the arrangements went without a hitch on our holiday to Canada. We loved the Rosewood Georgia hotel in Vancouver, and the Château Whistler. The ‘Aerocar’ drivers were great (and always early!) The Whitehorse Yukon experience was amazing – we had terrific northern lights sightings for all three nights we were there! Thank you for the excellent travel arrangements, we will certainly give you a call next time we need to arrange a travel adventure.

We travel a lot and generally tend to make our own plans. I felt a little out of my comfort zone booking an activity based holiday in Norway so decided to use an agent. After speaking to a few different companies I was sure that I wanted to book through ‘Travel With Jules’ as Jules had so much helpful advice and would always get back to me very quickly. After having a fantastic holiday, activities that all ran super smoothly and all with no effort, stress or organisation on my part the only negative thing I can say is that I fear booking through ‘Travel with Jules’ may be addictive, I am already getting her to look at my summer holiday plans for me! We did a number of activities all of which we were sent vouchers for as part of our holiday pack, along with vouchers for all transfers and instructions stating where we needed to be and when – it was great not to have to think about anything! We even changed our minds and wanted a change of location for out reindeer sledding – we simply called Jules from Norway, who sorted it all out for us an promptly emailed us a new voucher.
The activities were all out standing, once in a life time experiences. We spent a night at Camp Tamok which was a really fun and authentic feeling experience. We opted to stay in a heated aurora cabin to have some privacy, although I have to say the Lavuu where others in the group stayed looked like fun. It was -23’C so it was very cold, but they give you all of the warm clothing and time by a hot fire that you need to stay toasty and enjoy yourself. The food was yummy and there was plenty of it! We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights, and when we went to sleep at night I could still see a green streak through the sky from the ceiling window in our cabin.
Whilst there we went on both snow mobile and husky safaris. We went snowmobiling at night, the guide Tor was encouraging, informative and fun. We had such fun speeding along snowy tracks, and when we stopped and switched off the lights we saw the most incredible starry sky as we were so far from civilization and light pollution – we could even see the Milky Way! The husky safari was so much fun. It is noisy and exciting whilst you get going and the dogs are all excited, but once you get going it is a really peaceful and unique way to see the stunning snowy landscape. We were lucky to have the option to drive the dogs ourselves, we spoke to other people who had done this at other activity centres who were not allowed to do this. The dogs were beautiful and friendly, we spent a lot of time before and after the trip stroking them.
We went to a different camp for an evening Northern Lights spotting excursion. I was so pleased that we booked this before we left, as having already been lucky enough to see the lights once I felt a bit like it wasn’t worth another night outside looking for them, but went along anyway as we had pre paid – and I am SO GLAD THAT WE DID! We saw the best Northern Lights at the camp, we were snug and warm on reindeer skins, the camp was beautiful and they gave us hot drinks and sausages to toast over the fire. They also had over 300 friendly huskies who were were allowed to make friends with at our leisure – and they let us into their husky nursery where we got to play with the puppies! The reindeer safari was another fantastic evening. Our guide Jonny was a real entertainer, and once the sleigh ride was over we enjoyed sitting in a lavuu with him, eating traditional food and chatting with him about the Sami culture.

We just wanted to say thank you for all your help in finding us an excellent ski deal for Christmas which indeed it was. Meribel is a lovely resort, excellent ski area and we were lucky enough to have some fantastic snow and 4 days of sunshine. The chalet was in a good location and we had a really nice chalet host. We appreciate how much work you did for us at the last minute, thank you.

I just wanted to say thanks for arranging our holiday to Finland, you came up trumps again! The Kelo cottage at Iso-Syote was lovely, with a sauna, which we made use of. There were 3 bedrooms, which meant that the girls had a room each, which saved on the bickering no end!
The resort had everything we wanted, as you had told us, so we were able to go skiing as well as all the excursions (dog sledding, snowmobiles) you booked for us. Jonathan was very impressed with the calmness of it all, unlike many of the Alpine resorts he had been to in the past. At Iso-Syote there was no queuing for the ski lifts, or waiting for a space to snowboard down, even though the hotel told us it was their busy time. He even said he would like to go there again sometime as the facilities were so good. The snow and scenery were fantastic, just like the brochure, which was amazing. And it was VERY cold. Quite an experience. The Northern Lights didn’t grace us with their presence, but that in no way affected our enjoyment.
So thanks again for your patience, understanding and organisation. We will be back, so brace yourself!
